Since 2018, after a prolonged suffering with Typhoid and its repercussions on my liver, I have had a complicated relationship with food. I didn't enjoy eating anymore and it felt more like a chore. I lost my cravings, appetite, and love for food. I eventually lost a lot of weight and my strength - because I was barely eating one or two mini meals a day.
I needed help reconnecting with my body + food and improve my overall health.
Since working with her, I now have a morning, evening, and nightly routine. I eat my meals on time. I grab my snack on time. I don't let my body suffer without food anymore (after 5 years). I listen to my body's signals. I worry and break down a lot less. I feel happy most of the time now. Now that I'm finally eating nutritious food, I feel strong and healthy. I have my mindset tools handy for when I'm down - affirmations, meditation, and the techniques she taught me. I get my daily morning and evening dose of sun. I feel optimistic, hopeful, and confident about life. This may not be 100% every day, but at least 3-5 days a week of taking back control of my life.
