Why this matters

Because stress is not “just stress” anymore.

Many of us don’t even realise how much stress is changing us anymore.

We don’t just need better coping.
We need better recovery.

😐
You don’t always feel “stressed”

you just become more reactive, exhausted, disconnected or less like yourself.

🧍🏽
We look fine on the outside

while quietly running on empty underneath.

🏗️
We keep building modern life on exhausted humans

and calling it normal.

Why this works

Not stress management. Stress regulation.

Anuja luniya spekaing at an event AIG hospital

Modern life is overloading us faster than we can recover.
Stress today is no longer occasional.
For many of us, it has become continuous.

Modern stress changes how we think, feel, behave, connect and heal — often before we even realize it.
Focus drops. Sleep changes. Emotions feel louder.
Small things start feeling harder than they should.

Most stress advice starts in the mind.
But stress becomes harder to think your way through when it has been building for too long.

Stress regulation helps your body recover before stress keeps building.
Because recovery affects: how you function, respond, connect and heal.

Built using neuroscience, behaviour change, play, movement and body-based tools — made simple enough for real life in India.

That is not self-improvement.
That is recovery.

Who’s it for?

For real humans under real stress.

Turns out, people really needed this…

“This book has made me an armed warrior in all the soft sense…it's going to be my gentle shield that I return to everyday. Buy it as an investment in yourself, I guarantee you won't be disappointed.”
I will be forever grateful to you for writing this book. This book is empowering for everyone choosing to play it. Stress is inevitable and unavoidable, but when you know how to spot it, the stressors, and how to regulate it? (the book has made it so easy and fun- there are activities, 111- to bring you to here and now, anchor in the present, and build emotional intelligence and resilience) What this book means to me, it's going to be my gentle shield that I return to everyday. I am away from the home since standard 6th, so the world I saw growing up was different. It's only after covid, I rented a room, call it home. I cry readily, I seek refuge in words, I care deeply, I get hurt easily, I am nowhere around small talk, gossip drains me, I have less than 3 friends (giving myself a chance to name those 3 ) And yet, since July 2024, during my ongoing uncertain and fertile phase of existence, worry and stress — I believe had always been there in some form or shape. When I look forward, after playing RPT, and owning a copy of my own, I have learnt how to draw boundaries, how to ground myself, how to sigh out, how to doodle, do mandala, cycle sync, eat healthy, check-in with mood map and live with intention. This book has made me armed warrior in all the soft sense. Buy it as an investment in yourself, I guarantee you won't be disappointed. Dr. Anuja Luniya, Thank you for being who you are, and superrr thank you for writing RPT. Read More

“Exactly what India needs right now…a much-needed innovation for a high-stress world.”
As a clinician who has spent decades witnessing the toll that chronic stress takes — not just on the mind, but on the body — I believe 'Relax Play Thrive' is exactly what India needs right now. It's more than a book; it's a structured yet playful guide to understanding our nervous systems in a way that's both scientific and deeply human. What makes it truly unique is its ability to simplify complex physiology into everyday practicesthrough bite-sized activities that engage both logic and emotion. In a country where conversations around stress are either clinical or spiritual, this book brings in a long-missing third lens: behavioural and experiential. It's something I can see benefiting students, patients, caregivers and even medical professionals. If integrated into our healthcare, education, and wellness systems, I genuinely believe this tool has the potential to transform how Indians regulate stress-preventively, not just reactively. A much-needed innovation for a high-stress world. And in the light of the Diabetes epidemic, it will reduce risk of Diabetes. And, if you prevent Diabetes, you can prevent many complications like blindness! Read More

About Me

Why I created Relax Play Thrive.

I’m Dr. Anuja Luniya — physiotherapist, behavioural health coach, stress strategist and author.
And someone who’s lived with IBD for over 20 years.

But over the last 6 years — through severe flares, fatigue, burnout and prolonged survival mode — I realised something that completely changed how I understood stress:

Modern stress doesn’t just affect the mind.
It changes how we function, recover, connect, heal and move through everyday life — often before we even realise it’s stress.

And most stress support still assumes people have the bandwidth to think clearly, stay consistent and push through.

That insight eventually became ‘Relax Play Thrive’.

It brings together everything I’ve learned — through neuroscience, lived experience and years of working with real people under real stress — into one thing India urgently needs:
Stress regulation that people can actually use.

Not just for individuals. But for teams, schools and communities.
Because when enough people learn to regulate —
we don’t just change lives,
we help people function better again.

"2 weeks in, Anuja got me to love my life again! After 5 years of hating it!"
Since 2018, after a prolonged suffering with Typhoid and its repercussions on my liver, I have had a complicated relationship with food. I didn't enjoy eating anymore and it felt more like a chore. I lost my cravings, appetite, and love for food. I eventually lost a lot of weight and my strength - because I was barely eating one or two mini meals a day. I needed help reconnecting with my body + food and improve my overall health. Since working with her, I now have a morning, evening, and nightly routine. I eat my meals on time. I grab my snack on time. I don't let my body suffer without food anymore (after 5 years). I listen to my body's signals. I worry and break down a lot less. I feel happy most of the time now. Now that I'm finally eating nutritious food, I feel strong and healthy. I have my mindset tools handy for when I'm down - affirmations, meditation, and the techniques she taught me. I get my daily morning and evening dose of sun. I feel optimistic, hopeful, and confident about life. This may not be 100% every day, but at least 3-5 days a week of taking back control of my life. Anuja is more than just a physiotherapist, health, fitness, and behavioural coach. She's everything you need - a transformational life coach. Read More

“I’m a constant overthinker...Since working with the book, I’ve become more aware of my present state of mind. It’s helped me calm down — and that alone is worth everything.”
I’m a constant overthinker — always stuck in a loop of a thousand scenarios and never really present. I picked up Relax Play Thrive because I just wanted that to stop. And it did. This book helps me just pause. And reset. What drew me to it? Anuja. She’s the soul. She shared her story, and it resonated with me — on so many levels. What surprised me was how much it forced me to live in the present. Not the past. Not the anxious future. Just... now. The cute, fun exercises made me happiest — they’re not just a read-through. There’s something different on every page. Since working with the book, I’ve become more aware of my present state of mind. I’ve begun to understand how the brain works, what influences us, and how much power we actually have over it. It’s helped me calm down — and that alone is worth everything. Read More
